The Superior String Alliance
The Superior String Alliance was founded in 1984 as a nonprofit, community-based arts agency. Since then, the Young Strings Camp has provided students an opportunity to study with a celebrated faculty from throughout the United States. In 1989, the Superior Music Festival was inaugurated as an additional arm of the organization and has continued on an annual basis. The Superior Festival Orchestra draws national as well as local gifted artists and accomplished professionals and coordinated its performances and talents with FinnFest USA in both 1996 and 2005. (We are not affiliated with the Marquette Symphony Orchestra).
Setting for Music Instruction
The clean air, the beautiful water, the majestic trees and the delightful community of like-minded musicians combine to provide the setting for incredible music instruction and magical music making.
